Hi all,
I have an issue with Alive Check. I load up a few k URLs and when either completed or I stop it, there is 1 thread still active that won't process. I am using 10 dedicated proxies, 3 URLs/sec and setup for 404s. 12 k URLs take about 1 hour to process if only they would finish. Task manager shows that there is still about 3% CPU usage on the addon.

Expired Domain Finder Save Snapshop
I the video tutorial you mention that we could save the snapshot so can later load it if needed but while the plugin is running(scraping) the file menu is unavailable. I could hit stop and then I have the save menu active and I can indeed save the snapshot but if I hit start again with the snapshot loaded it will just scrape from the beginning disregarding any "snapshot" information.
Also, it would be great to be able to save all those crawled links, not to mention the possibility to check them before crawling to see if they haven't been already crawlled.

Using ScrapeBox to find blog about a particular topic
I've been looking around for a good tutorial on using Scrapebox to find blogs/websites that are about a particular topic. I'm not interested in doing any automated comments on these sites, just need to compile a list of blogs/websites around that topic for manual outreach (with DA).
I've installed Moz's tool for calculating DA and this works. Can anyone point me to a decent blog post or video on finding topic-specific blogs/sites?

Multiple Search Operators in Query
I wanted to scrape URLs using multiple search operators in a single query. For example, "inurl:blogs & intitle:Keyword". Is there a way for me to do this in scrapebox? I tried to scrape with this query and it only returns the results of one search operator but not both or multiple.

Scraping FreeIndex.co.uk
Hi
I have used the custom scraper to gather contacts from the Freeindex.co.uk site. That works fine.
I wanted to grab the websites. I have tried external links (only youtube links returned) and I have tried the Custom Data option (no data gathered).
This is one of the URL's I am scraping:

I used the before_after= basis to grab the addresses but, even though I can see the web address in the coding (viewed in IE, press F12), I cannot seem to get at it.
Is it me or is there a foul HTML demon at play here :-)

My first post...
Hello all,
This is officially my first post on the forum. While I am not a complete ScrapeBox newbie, I'm definitely by no means an advanced user. In fact, right now I'm just starting to learn exactly what it can do and how to do it. So far I have watched several of Loopline's videos and I plan to watch all of them. I look forward to learning as much as I can here on this forum and then in return I plan to give back tips and tricks I have developed on my own from what I have learned.

Appropriate number of threads in Proxy Manager?
Hello all,
I was told when scanning public proxies within the ScrapeBox Proxy Manager it's important not to use over 500 threads. This doesn't make any sense to me considering as long as your machine is able to handle more threads, why would this be a problem?
The only thing I can think of is that when you harvest public proxies, a lot of them are from the same IP ranges/blocks and the more threads you're running, the more connections will be open on certain IP range/blocks. Since you're scanning from a single IP, too many connections from this IP could cause problems.
Although I'm far from 100% sure, it seems at times that running a max of 500 threads does seem to result in more proxies. However, I haven't done enough testing to state this conclusively and I could be 100% wrong.
Can anyone offer any further info as to whether the max 500 thread limit is true (for public proxies at least), and if there is some truth to it, why?

Root URL's & Contact Us Posting

I have scraped a lot of URL's from various sources, some with emails, some without. Those without tend to trap the root URL.
I have seen the contact us video on you tube and can see how to "Inurl" or link the search to the anchor text.
What I am not sure of is where I put the root URL's list.......in the harvestor and then harvest? Do I need to check the platforms or...... I'm not sure.

Expired Domain Finder Not Collecting URLs to Crawl
Not sure if I'm missing a setting but the "urls to crawl" doesn't collect on certain websites.
For example, it works great on hightimes.com.
However, it won't collect any URLs for weedmaps.com, leafly.com or a dozen other websites. I've tried many different settings but it won't collect.
What am I missing?

Custom Data Grabber
Hi
Can the CDG be configured to store the Mask/Field name as well as the URL and DATA scraped.
Then I can do one pass at the scrape and with 2 excel formulas I can tabulate the data extracted into more user friendly form?
At the moment, I am doing 1 pass per mask and then stitching them together in excel. Each pass is 220,000 URLs' and there are 6 data masks.
Some of the masks have data for every URL and some don't, hence the mask name/field name would be a god send.

Will You Be My Savior? - Google Mobile Site Tester - Error -1 Code

This issue is just driving me nuts.
I want to use the SB Google Mobile Site Tester addon for 1000s of urls but it is not working for me and gives an "Error-1" and just fails in SB, no log. Not a single one works. I emailed back and forth with support but they cannot help.
This is what I've tried so far.
Hope someone is able to help.

- Tried from Windows 10 PC & Server 2012 R2 VPS
- Changing url to http://www.google.com
- Changing 10x PageSpeed Api's (all were created more than 5 minutes ago)
- Using all the api's in my WordPress websites (all work, tests come back)
- Removed Chrome and firefox
- Changed user agent several times
- Used VPN
- Installed previous version
- Used 32 and 64 bit exe from SB
Hope someone is able to help.
